- Throughout the duration of the archives, numerous non-recorded Moron events transpired where the record keeper was not in attendance. While a truly complete Morons Log would be a great thing, it would have been a nearly impossible task to monitor the social excursions of everyone apart from the excursion itself. As a result, PAB is a participant in every recorded event.
- Because each entry was recorded within a couple of days following the event, the Morons Log is nearly 100% accurate with respect to the date of each event and the people in attendance. The exact start times, however, were often estimated.
- Red notes: As a footnote to some entries, some explanatory comments have been added.
- The names of the attendees are, for the most part, self explanatory. There are a few non-Morons who attended certain events, and some individual names may therefore be unrecognized. To avoid confusion, the following names of these regular Morons have been used:
"Steph" = Stephanie Chen
"Rickard" = Stephanie Rickard
"Steve" = Steve Poling
"Lachance" = Steve Lachance
- There is period of about 7-8 weeks in July and August of 1998 where no events were recorded. The record keeper was unfortunately out of town during this duration, and was therefore unable to record any entries.
- There are a few entries where the list of attendees is simply "(everyone)". These events were quite large, and individual names were too numerous to record.
- There were many events where PAB was the only attendee, but these have been deleted from the public log, as few people would be interested in the record keeper's lone outings to Shannon Pub or the Elmwood.
- The archive ends on June 25, 1999 when the record keeper left Rochester and was therefore unable to record subsequent events.
